The
real tree wholesale and retail sale industry continues to grow year
after year. It is very important for both the consumer and wholesaler to
know about proper real tree care.
If you're purchasing trees to resale on a lot or from your business then
trees should be stored in shaded areas and protected from extreme
temperatures and wind.
The trees should be covered with some sort of burlap or shade cloth,
instead of plastic, and should be sprayed with water regularly. Water is
very important of course and trees should be sprayed in the morning and
throughout the day if needed depending on the temperature and sunlight.
If the tree is being kept in warmer areas with lower levels of humidity
the trees will need more water than usual. Trees should be given on
average a quart of water a day.
After taking the tree home, consumers should make a fresh cut to the
bottom of the tree trunk about 1/4 to 1/2 inch thick so that the tree
can get water adequately. Then simply check and water your tree daily to
insure that it retains its needles and remains fresh throughout the
season. Your real tree will not only remain quite beautiful all season
long; it will also provide that holiday scent that you're looking for!
